Since most people in the Drupal universe only know JQuery is available, if this module was on drupal.org with an issue tracker and cvs download, you might get a lot more uptake in the Drupal community.
I'd be happy to help you navigate getting a cvs account, etc. if you are interested

Definitely.
I agree. I had never heard of this module until I was searching the web for JS aggregation and finally for this phrase: "ShrinkSafe Drupal". That's right, we need JS aggregation badly in Drupal! And afaik, the JS aggregation feature for D6 has been stalled...
Agreed
I need to apply for a CVS account, then convert the PHP code to their standards. Thanks for your patience.
poke!
I guess this has fallen off your radar.. but it shouldn't! dojo is very cool and this is a nice module. but it is not as accessible if one cannot easily 'find' it..
i would also be willing to help do what it takes to get this onboard with the drupal development folks.
At first I was thinking of
At first I was thinking of posting this module in Drupal's repo, and I even went as far as to gain CVS access, but after doing some thinking, I've decided to not post this module on their site.
First, I have licensed this module under the BSD license which is a much less restrictive license than the GPL. The BSD license is not compatible with GPL and Drupal only wants GPL licensed modules in their repo.
Second, I don't agree with Drupal's coding standards. I am told the worst thing that would happen is other Drupal developers would think that my awesome code was not awesome. Coding standards have nothing to do with great code.
Third, I believe CVS is garbage. The Drupal people need to move their operations to a real version control system like Subversion.
I hope that helps explain the situation.
